This issue was reported to Quality Engineering as SPR# DPOL5UCJDY and was fixed
in Notes/Domino release 6.5.5.

SPR# DPOL5UCJDY - If html is pasted into a rich text field in a subform, the
error, "Cannot save bitmap to disk," is displayed when attempting to save the
document.
There is no workaround currently available other than updating your Notes
version.
